3 Weeks Post-Op And Have A Lump Feeling After Eating?

in my chest area? I'm on mushy food but even with sugar free pudding , yogurt, shakes or cream Soup I get this lump feeling in my chest after I eat. Maybe I'm eating too fast, or not chewing correct? I have no fill and feel great. Some days I feel like I can eat a house some days I hardly feel like I can eat that much.

Anyone experience this??

TIA

Sounds like you are eating too fast. Slow down and take your time. Wait a minute between each bite. Remember it should take you about 20 minutes to eat a meal. Good luck...

  • I had this same problem for many weeks after surgery (also it started at 3.5 weeks after). Turns out that I was eating too fast and the pieces were too big. Bites should be no bigger than your pinky

If you feel like your eating way to much, then you might want to go back to the basics, and see if your food intake shrinks some.
