Oy

Ok....protein shake I got from GNC....it's a vanilla one whey protein-low fat/carb and you get 20gr Protein in one scoop....I love love ice capps....so I make the shake with skim milk, one scoop, one tsp coffee and lots of ice:)

Re pharmacy....call SWLC and ask them to have the pharmacy call you or call them....

Don't worry...be excited....I know I sound down about it...but I am happy I did it and I Do Expect I will lose the weight once I get the fills....

The whole thing went by really fast and easy :)

You'll be great!

Thanks! I feel a bit better.....I am going to call SWLC tomorrow and get this all sorted out and then head to GNC for the protien powder. I really appreciate all the advise.....I am starting to realize that this forum is pretty invaluable!!

How long has it taken you to lose your weight so far? It sounds like your doing really well!

Omg my weightless is insanely slow! I too started with bmi of 30, and have list 16 lbs so far on pure will power, as if I were on any other diet. Granted, I've only had 1 fill of 2.5cc. Looking forward to my next fill next Monday!

My surgery was on 12/23/2011... I just keep telling myself 5 pounds at a time. Five pounds is a victory even if it takes 5 weeks:). I only weigh in on Saturday morning and I am hoping this Saturday gets me to 155. Then the fight starts for 150. One day at a time- I don't punish myself for failure but rather acknowledge it immediately. I am trying to exercise 3 - 4 times a week- nothing too intense.

I have a BMI of 37 and have just attended my my seminar 2 weeks ago. I have my first appointment with the surgeon 4-30 and so very excited and hopeful. Have found out will be able to have Medicare and my insurance pay for it. How amazing! Never had insurance help pay for W.W., or Jennie Craig. Family and friends are not very encouraging, but they just don't understand!! I'm 65 and can't imagine continuing this course. I don't want to be a fat grandma and great grandma. And hon, I'd give anything to be a 16 again! But I remember when I hated the idea. I could go on and on, but what I'm most afraid of is losing my best friend ... and not be able to eat as much. I'll have to find a new addiction, but would rather not.

now that i've dipped into the upper 20ies BMI it is super slow. but i stopped weighing myself self because i hate seeing 0.25 kg weightloss. instead i am happy that i look like an average size woman and i no longer shop in the plus size department or have to go and ask for the shop's biggest size.

i think a strict exercise plan is essential now, and no more powerwalks, need to break a sweat ( i am telling myself!)

Wonderful. Whatever normal is to each of us. I was so tired of losing the same 20-30-40 lbs over and over. The question of how often to weigh is interesting. About 2 x a month is good for me. And isn't it pleasant shopping at any store? I found for me that actually having a workout trainer for a bit made me show up. It was easy to not go but I wouldn't due to any reason. I had to pay something for it to "stick". Not for all I know. And a sacrifice but worked for me. Banded almost 6 years. Still working out. Fun ugggg. Menopause is also another reason for me to keep sweating it out!

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
