I was wondering what copmanies insurance actually do cover lapband? I live near benson az, thats near tucson az. Does anybody around this area know or have had the lapband covered my their employers insurance? Im now looking into a new job, and that is a major factor. Thanks!

  • I'm amazed that the job market over there is so good that the health insurance offered can be a factor. At the moment in Aus things are pretty tough(though we are supposedly doing better than the rest

  • Don't be afraid of Mexico. Tijuana is pretty safe. And my doctor sends a van to pick you up at either the airport or border. I wasn't afraid and we walked around town the day before. And the place

34,612 Deaths in Mexico’s Drug War in 4 Years, Mexican President Says

That figure is total deaths related to the cartel. How many were actually involved in the drug trade and how many were tourists?

hmmm good question. I watch a show on i think discovery the other day "mexican drug war" It did speak of tijuana alot but they also mentioned that they dont bother tourist because they like the tourist because they help econically and spend money. I dont know. Im just going to wait until i feel comfortable with either here or there i guess. I dont want to make a rash decison, plus i still need to come up with funds for either place. I kind of wanted to know what amount i was needing but i guess ill just shoot high for now. 001_huh.gif its so interesting the very strong and opposite views people are giving me reguarding to go mexico or us. Im taking both into consideration right now. ahhh so confuesing!

omg i should re-read these before i post.... i watched...not watch...

Does it really matter what nationality they were? They are people. The tourist can't spend their money if the stores are closed as many are. But I am giving up. If you decide to go to Mexico please be careful it really is dangerous. May God protect you and all who decide to go. Good luck to you.

What I was saying that quoting that over 30,000 people have been killed in the drug wars needs to be put in persepctive. That number can be used to account for deaths over a period of 20 years. A high percentage could account for the actual people involved in the cartel themselves.

The US probably has similar numbers of people killed while involved in the drug trades if you spread it to the beginning of problems with drugs. Yes there are innocent people killed and get caught in crossfire but to quote that over 30,000 people have been killed in Mexico makes it seem that you are insinuating that they were all tourists there just minding their own business.

Did you read the part that said “4 Years”? We will just have to agree to disagree.
