How Can I Possibly Drink All Of It???

Today was day 1 of my liquid diet...GNC Protein powder shakes, Benefiber, skim milk, 1 cup raw veggies, plus 100 oz of "free fluid" every day!

I have not gotten hungry or thirsty at all today, and I have fallen short of my protein supplement intake requirements. I have a very difficult time forcing myself to drink when I am neither hungry or thirsty.

Did anyone else have that problem? Any suggestions on how to get all of the nutrition I need?

I would love to read if anyone else had this problem, and if so what they did to manage and cope with it!

Thanks in advance...:)

Sorry I was starving - I had no problems LOL

I had 2 Protein shakes a day - Breakfast and lunch and then a very lean meat for dinner and green veggie. I would supplement with SF Jello and popsicles.

Good Luck!

I have the same problem. When I was on liquids, I thought I was going to float away, just with the soup and broth alone, but to expect me to drink 64oz of water to was not possible for me. Now that I am on a mushy diet, I still have trouble drinking all my water, even when I add Crystal Lite to it. the biggest problem so far I have encountered is that because of the diminished diet allowances, I also do not have normal bowl movements which have been a huge problem since surgery. Does anyone else have this problem?
