I get my fill tomorrow! WOOT!

Alright, My first fill since I had the surgery. I am nervous and anxious and can't wait to get it done. Will I be able to drive afterwards? So I can go by myself right? Just general questions. :)

Let me know. Gotta go now.

hehe I know. I am a worrier when it is new. And then like you said I will be on here oh hell that was easy! :) Thanks Kathy. I am a goofy woman I know. hehe

Angie

It was really easy....the hardest thing was the little sting from the numbing stuff. And that wasn't bad. I drove home, and next time I'll go into work...could have this time, but decided since someone was working for me to take the day off :).

Yes you can drive after getting a fill ...unless the excitment just over welms you!! LOL!!! Good luck and glad you are getting to your first great mile stone...your first fill!!! Congrats!!!

Angie, what time is/was your fill today? From what I've heard, it's not bad at all; but what do I know?

I cannot wait to see everyone tomorrow!

Ah, That was EASY! It was fun too! I had two good lookin' men standin' by me... hehe. :) Dr. B. and his helper. They were fun too. The helper dude was like... You had to have lapband? I said I love you already! ;)

But it was very easy and I could feel the pressure from the needle and it was cool. And I got to watch. I didnt have to pay!!! But they did send me over to Patient services because they thought I had too but my insurance is so good I didnt have too. WOOT!!!

I am on liquids. Drinking my boost as we speak and went to the grocery store and got all the other fun liquidy stuff. So I am set for my six days of no eating. :) I will do fine. Hopefully I can lose some weight now. It has been on a stand still and has been driving me insane!!! :) Thanks for checking up on me girls.

Angie, that's great! What kind of soup are we eating tomorrow?

  • Author

I dunno? Not sure? hmm... We can figure that out tomorrow. All I know is that I am drinking boost right now. lol Oh I forgot to tell you. Dr. B put in 2cc's in my band. He said I was wide open and was in need of one. And I got it. :)

Angie

Can you feel a difference? Could you feel the band tighten as he added it? Inquiring minds wanna know :)

  • Author

I think I feel a difference. I couldnt feel it tighten up at all when he did it. I was like you are done? He said Yep! So yeah it was EASY! Three days on liquids though. lol Thats going to be hard. I dont see how I made those two weeks. :)

Angie

Although I dread it, I need the two weeks of liquids to help me get my head straightened out! The closer it's getting, the more bad stuff I've been eating. I know the band doesn't keep you from eating bad stuff, but I refuse to put myself through this anxiety, effort, surgical pain, etc. and not give it my best effort.

Glad to hear it went so well for you. When do you go back again? I'm looking forward to my soup tomorrow. I hope they have broc cheese, I'm in the mood for that!
