Lap Band Fill And No Restriction-please Help!

Had gall bladder surgery the first of December. Thinking I might be having problems with my band, I had all the fluid removed. Now, a month later I had the same amount of fluid placed back in the band. I am not feeling the same (or much) restriction as before and some are telling me it might take a few weeks before the fill takes effect. My first question is, has this been anyone elses experience?..... and two how or why is this possible? Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Have you lost any weight since the gallbladder surgery? If so, the band might be looser with the same amount of fluid in it. I tend to be tighter as soon as I've had my fill up u til three weeks, then it seems to loosen up. But that's just me. Others report rhat it takes time for theirs to tighten up. Everyone is different.

I also am tighter right after the fill. It loosens as time passes. I also wonder if you have lost weight since your surgery. That might explain the need for more fluid now.
