4 Weeks Post Lap Band Surgery... Am I Eating Too Much?

Hello all!

I am 4 weeks out and I feel like I am not doing so well. I lost 26 lbs in my first two weeks but have gained a pound or two since.

I was extremely dehydrated at one point and just started drinking the correct amount of liquids.

I eat small portions of eggs, grits, cheese, or sandwich meat for Breakfast. Sometimes a mixture.

For lunch I will get a small sized plate and usually eat whatever I can get. A lot of Protein and very little of anything else.

Usually around dinner time I try to do the same as lunch, but sometimes I feel like it's just too much.

I have about 2 Snacks during the day (mostly cheese or sandwich meat).

I do not have a digital scale so I am not exactly sure HOW MUCH I am actually eating. I have just been eyeballing it on small plates. I definitely need a scale.

My biggest problem is that rarely after I eat I have a dull pain under my breast bone and I know it's from over eating. I have not had to throw up yet.... I am just super worried and need some support! I hope I am not messing this up!

sign up to myfitnesspal.com it's free. It takes out the guess work, and has the actual calories and Protein to calculate.

If your over in calories or protein, you can gain weight.

A lot of people from this site are on there.

You can view their Diary and see what they are eating also.

I am Losingintime on that site. Look me up and you can view my Diary if you like.

I'll gladly friend you in.

MERRY CHRISTMAS ! & HAPPY NEW YEAR !
