Hi,

I'm new to WLS and still doing a lot of research. I am looking into possibly having a lap band with plication, but need more info on it. I am having a hard time finding a doctor (who can maybe provide me with some of those answers) in California that does plication, because it is so new. I live in N. California, but am willing to travel. Does anyone know of any good doctors in California?

I had lap band with plication in May 2011. I love mine. I have lost 77lbs. I don't have to have my band filled with the plication. So I don't have to see the Dr.but every 3 months. I live in Boaz Al. I had surgery in Birmingham Al. it is about 65 miles from me. I am very glad I had the surgery. You lose weight a lot faster with the plication.
