Gaining Weight After My First Lap Band Fill A Week Ago, Is This Ever Normal

Hey everyone, For the last two weeks I've avoided getting on the scale, but after having my first fill on 12/6/2011 of 4cc, I weighed myself last night and only to find out that I gained 5 pounds. Here I thought I have been doing great with eating smaller meals and such. I am lost as to why Im gaining and not even losing at least a pound. This whole experience has been somewhat depressing. When I went home for thanksgiving weekend, literally 36+ hours, just to help my family drive home, I gained 8 pounds, who does that. And the only wrong thing I may have eaten that was not straight protein was some french fries. Has this ever happened to anyone else, I feel like I keep going up instead of down.

how many calories I was actually eating. Everything counts, even a

french fry : > ).
