I am new to this journey. I have made the first step by making the decision to get banded. I have scheduled my next step. (free seminar) I am anxious and excited about the prospect of a healthier me. In January, my insurance changes to UHC. I am hoping that by using one of their Center of Excellence, my out of pocket costs will be minimal. I love reading about all the different triumphs and struggles experienced. It really gives a grounded view of what to expect. Thanks for sharing!!

I was directed to a CoE by my PCP. It was the most fortunate thing that has happened to me in a

long time. The whole experience couldn't have been better. If you do go to a Center of Excellence,

you'll know everything you need to make your surgery a brilliant success. Mine was a PPO and

so far, no out of pocket expense. I hope you have as good luck as I did.
