Indigestion/heart Burn Post Lap Band Surgery?

I had surgery 3 days ago and I have had pretty bad indigestion. I have been trying to get in as much liquid as I can a day, I am on Clear liquids for a week. I am taking Chewable Gas-X but that does not seem to be helping the indigestion/heart burn.

Any suggestions to help this? Also, how much were you able to drink the days following surgery. Thanks!

I really didn't have any problems, good genes, I guess. One of my hand outs from my WLS seminar says to take

Rolaids or Tums, short term, or Prilosec for longer problems. GasX probably won't help for heartburn-reflux.
