Wish I would have done this a long time ago. I love my new life. Wife loves my new life. I actually help around the house, whereas, I was always tired and hurting and grumpy all the time and wouldn't even pick up after myself. My yard is now full of compliments, including the alley - holy smokes! The house is getting improvements that I never thought of before. Wow!

I've had a weight problem all my life and lost and gained and lost and gained - we all know the story. The band keeps me in check and I'm at a point where I've learned to "eat to live" and yes there are head games with food that I deal with at times but I'm back on track quickly. I don't intentionally try to be a band cheerleader, but, man what a difference the weight loss has made in my life. Yoyo dieting just did not work for me and if one day I lose the band I am thrilled that I got the chance to begin to enjoy life to it's fullest at 52, the Golden years.

Almost last but not least, the couch misses me and pay-per-view is no longer making a killing $$$. I'm embarrassed to say, but, we actually have left overs in the fridge. Lastly, the washing machine is working much better! lol

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
