I live out of state and I'm not familiar with the doctors in the Salt Lake City area. Can anyone recommend physicians they have had positive experiences with or let me know of the doctors you would not highly recommend. It's kinda scary to just look at a list of names and not know anything about any of them. I want to have my first visit be with a doctor I can feel at ease with and trust. Please help me out. I'm just starting out on this venture and I'm just a little nervous about it. Thanks!

I'm in the pre-surgery process with Dr. Darin Hansen at AltaView Hospital. He seems good. I believe he's done about 230 lap-band surgeries. His partner also does the lap-band surgery. Sounds like his office has a great follow-up program with nutritionist, exercise guru and nurse.
