Hi all! I am getting banded Nov 9th..eventhough I know that everyones experience is different would you mind sharing with me how much you lost the first month after surgery? I see there are a lof of negative posts on the site..I love hearing positive stories..they motivate me!

I lost my band yesterday, but lost about 175 lbs while I had it. I believe my first month's loss was around 40 lbs. I'd lost 22 lbs at my 2 week post-op visit.

I am 35 days POST OP. I have lost 22lbs so far! I was banded on August 12 with a starting weight of 252lb I am currently 230lb. This is the lowest I've weighed in about 5years! they say during bandster hell , a lot of ppl gain weight, but that was not my experience. I actually Lost 2lbs!I just got my first fill on Wed and I am still feeling very positive about my decision! any other questions you have just let me know!
