Swollen or Slipped Lap Band??

I was banded in March of this year. I have a 10cc band and am at a fill of 7. I had never thrown up until Monday of this week. It was from bad fish and not eating too much. I have not been able to eat anything since then because of the pain. I can't get in to see my doctor until Monday, so I figured I would ask the Lap Band world if anyone else has had this experience?? Swollen sore stomach or slipped band? What does a slipped band feel like??

Sort of sounds like a slip to me. Can you keep liquids down?

I have thrown up where I had a hard time eating anything solid for a couple of days but liquids went down fine and stayed down.

Hope it is just an irritated stomach. Good Luck?

I can drink ok, and have been able to keep the premade Protein shakes down with not too much pain, it's just food that hurts?

I had a slip, I wasnt able to keep fluid or solid down. I would suggest staying on liquids until you see your doctor. If you throw up water thats a sure sign you slipped. good luck

You are probably just swollen from the vomiting. Put yourself on liquids for a few days and you should be fine. Chronic or projectile vomiting can cause a slip but one little episode is unlikely to do any long term damage.
