Soy/Egg White/Whey does it matter what protein we are using?

Does it matter what kind of Protein we are using?

I got a free sample of that Visalus shake mix. It said it tastes like cake batter so I thought I'd try it. It really does. It's really good. The only two issues are it is SOY Protein and it only has 12 grams of protein which isn't really enough. It has 5 grams of Fiber per serving though and that seems to help me stay full longer.

If you add skim milk to it then that increases your protein but I normally use Almond milk and that doesn't help the protein levels at all.

I'm trying to decide if I want to order a pack of this or if I would get the same benefit from adding Benefiber to a shake made with Muscle Milk Light Cake Batter.

Any thoughts?

I don't think it matters if it's soy or whey. I'm in the soft food stage and I've been eating tofu to get some of my protein along with my whey protein shakes.
