I have only been banded for about a week now and I'm not really in any pain anymore. My incisions are nearly healed and I feel fine, other than some slight discomfort I am feeling on the side where the band and port or placed. If I lay on either side, the side that my band is on feels uncomfortable. Even when I'm just sitting down it is noticible, almost as if I can feel the actual band inside of me....Has anyone experienced this? Am I just still a little sore from surgery?? Any comments welcome!!! Thanks!

I hear that the soreness can last a month. Your body is trying to adjust to this foreign invasion but it will get better as it has for many other bandits too

I was banded in May, and I still have some pulling or tugging at the port site. I talked to my surgeon on Friday about it at my fill appointment and he said it was normal because the port is implanted into the fascia and will pull for a while. He said not to worry about it.
