Sorry to hear you are having to do this alone, not fun but maybe the surgery will keep your mind on other things. At 55 my surgery went great and to be honest I sometimes think it would be easier to not have to be cooking for someone else. He likes my weight loss but isn't interested in getting healthy. I am determined to do this no matter what. I can't believe what a difference 40 pounds makes in my outlook on life. Hang in there, you won't regret it....best thing I ever did for myself.
