Newbie from NM, 4 days post op!! MAJOR Pains in Left RIB

Wanted to wish everyone who has had or who is going to have the surgery the best of luck. I have had great luck so far. The only complaint I have is a pain under my left rib, it comes and goes, but is present everyday and is PAINFUL!! Has anyone else experienced this pain and have advice? I have been told it is gas and to walk, but when I walk it gets worse, and I get the sweats. I know its only 4 days out but I need some relief ASAP!!

Gas pains are usually in the shoulder blades. The pain your having is from your port. Give it some time to heal. Don't lift anything heavy and be especially careful with bending and twisting.

It could be gas pains.. get some gas x
