Banded for 4 days - still lots of pain

I was banded on May 12th and did not have any gas, regurgitation or vomit problems, but I am soooo sore - it's hard to sit down, to get out of bed and I do not want to keep taking the Hydrocodone forever... anyone who experienced the same? I am able to slowly take the shakes, apple sauce, broth, tea, baby food. But my mid abdomen is hurting so much!

Yes, it's normal to feel that way. While some people are lucky and bounce right back after surgery, it's still major surgery, and most people are still plenty sore at day 4.

Its normal. Unfortunately the pain last four about a week.,

Unfortuately that is normal. It will get better but I was sore for about a week and a half. It will get better! hang in there!
