Are you in the 6 month eval. period before surgery?

My insurance requires a 6 month evaluation/counseling period which I just began. If all goes well (and I don't change my mind about surgery) I'll be getting the LapBand in October. I would truly appreciate some buddies who are in a similar situation to share things with along the way. I'm in my mid 40s, mom to two kids, and working full time. I'm originally from NYC but live elsewhere in the Northeast now.

Thanks!

Emme

Hi Emme! I'm no longer in the 6 month wait, but I did have to do it. I just wanted to tell you that it'll pass quicker than you think, and in my case it really helped me learn a lot about what to expect once my surgery was over, which is a huge key to success. Good luck!
