My PCP has recommended me for WLS. I have my first appointment with the surgeon next Monday. What can I expect? What kind of questions should I ask?

Congrats! I never knew what to ask my doctor either. I think I researched so much that he probably couldnt answer anything that I might have already known. I asked about how many people he has had that have slipped and flipped and what the procedures are for those.

I was pretty nervous my first consultation with my surgeon so make sure if you do have any questions to write them down before hand. I asked a lot about the complications and how many surgery's she's done and what kind of band she uses. I can't think of anything else I asked right now but if I remember I'll get back to you.
