Help me find a Doctor in the DFW area

Recommended Posts

:help: Does anyone know of a doctor that will take a patient who allready has a lapband? I live between Dallas and Ft. Worth and my doctor does not take my new insurance and the names of the referrals he gave will not take a patient who is allready banded. I am desperate for a doctor. If anyone can help I will be so grateful. Thanks, Janie

Have you checked with Dr. Maese? I know he takes some from his uncle in MX. Who did your surgery?

Thanks for responding. I have never had a fill. I will have had my band for 2 years in May. I had lost 50 lbs but think I have gained some of that back. I need to make sure everything is o.k. in there and yes get a fill. I have no restriction but I have never had a P.B. I have been scared of fills but I really need one and just to get checked out. Could you tell me more about this doctor? Where is hid Practice? Thank you so much...Janie

Janie, check with Dr Jayaseelan. I know he does fills for just about everybody and for only $50 if he does them in his office. His website is www.texaslapbandcenter.com His office is at Medical City Dallas. That is just south of the Central Expressway/High 5 intersection.

Between Dallas & Ft. Worth?

My wife and I are scheduled for surgery in a couple weeks with Dr. Sewell in Southlake. www.lapbandspecialists.com

We're paying for it ourselves, so I can't say which insurance plans he participates in - but I do know that he's done fills for folks that didn't use him for their surgery...

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
