Discomfort about 3rd fill

I had my 3rd fill yesterday, and i am experiencing some mild discomfort now. It is close to my chest/lungs. Sometime when i breath and when i cough, and when i swallow hard...... Has anyone ever experience such a thing....please let me know because i am worried!!! do you guys think i could be too tight?????

The doctor has asked me to be on a liquid diet for the next 2 weeks....so i won't know until then if i am really too tight....any input will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!

The only time I felt simular to that was when I was getting my first fill. It was done under flouro, once the doctor got the needle in he installed 5ccs. I started choking and coughing I felt like I couldn't breath. Slowly he removed some saline till I could at least drink the barium. I remember the feeling in my esophagus/chest area, almost like a vise.

I would have to say that you might be too "tight".

Its been a few days since you posted, how do you feel now?

Hope your feeling better.

Thank you so much for your reply!

It has been 3 days now since it got adjusted and it is feeling a bit better or i am getting used to the discomfort. I was worried because that discomfort was so unexpected. I think i might be too tight but my doctors are traveling and are coming back on the 19h and i am under strick instructions to only have liquids until then ...... and i will, because i am so afraid of something getting stuck. I saw them yesterday (2 twin brothers operated on me) and described what i was feeling. They were very happy because at least it is a sign that the band is doing what it is suppose to be doing. They had been afraid that after more then 11 months of being adjusteds that the band would no longer be effective. And i have to admit that i am now also extremely happy because i can once again dream about being slim:D . I am putting the 2 faces because it is a bittersweet feeling. Last year i was devastated when i realized the band was not working and being away from the doctors i was hopeless. But reading this forum made me realize that the reason it was not working was because the band was adjusted enough and needed to be tightened!!!!! Now i can see the light at the end of the tunnel again since this time it seems we've gotten it right.

Whew! But thank you so much for your reply and feel free to give me any advice. They will all be welcome.
