Does anyone have any liquid reciepes to help me out

Recommended Posts

I didn't try anything too funky! Just did my shakes first (always premixed kind!), then I'd buy different varieties of Soups, i'd have maybe once a day, like Tomato, butternut squash, pureed bean Soup. For me, when I was on liquids I didn't have much of an appetite for different things. I still have a cabinet full of Soup, bullion, chicken stock, and 10 different nasty Protein powders and all that crap haha.

Be careful mixing things into shakes, the calories can add up fast. The shakes already have a lot.

sugar free pudding is good, and fudgsicals. For me though, I was usually looking for something savory since all the shakes are sweet

Are you drinking at least 60 grams of Protein Shakes? That should make you feel fuller. liquids just suck though, no way around it. But Protein shakes FIRST, then if you want other things then have it.

I love the herbalife shakes ---- you can take the mix and then add more Protein to it....I use unjury unflavored to add to mine. SOme of my faves...

chocolate herbalife shake mix - 1 tablespoon PB2 (powdered Peanut Butter -you can use real) - 1 cup skim milk - blend with ice until you get the consistency you like....I prefer it more icy and thick.

The tropical herbalife mix is really good too --- add skim milk and ice --- and any fresh fruit you have around....YUM!

I don't really like the vanilla herbalife mix - that's the only one I didn't care for, though. I buy mine online...ebay or Amazon has it, too. You can always take a flavor and add in a tablespoon of sugar free pudding too - mix it up a bit - like take the choc mix and add in cheesecake pudding....YUM! I have found I have to keep a variety and I hate the pre mixed shakes....so I get creative so I don't get bored!

I just made a shake yesterday that I LOVED! one envelope diet hot cho mix(25cal) and 1 scoop vanilla Protein powder(I use Bariatric Advantage Meal Replacement, 80 cals/scoop) splash of Toraci chocolate sugar free/colorie free syrup( ? spelling, in the coffee aisle at the store) 3pkts Truvia and ice, very minimal Water, just enough to get things going and add as needed. I figured it at 105 calories and 15g Protein. Tastes just like a Wendy's Frosty. Eat it with a spoon! Yummy

I also like to take crystal light ( 3 or 4 ounce already mixed) and mix that with 2 scoops of the vanilla protein powders and lots of ice and just a bit of Water. For chocolate, I like to mix 1/3 of a frozen banana in. I bought some cottage cheese to try next. I keep reading that people say it makes the shakes creamier.

I also have nectar protein products. tastes great mixes easy with water. I try not to get to carried away adding fruit and other things that just add calories.

The magic bullet is my best friend, closely followed by the elliptical trainer.

Forgot to mention greek yogurt. I saw you have been eating some yogurt but dont feel too full after. Try some of the greek. I have tried Brown Cow--I think thats it--from Sams Club. They are so rich and creamy, i always feel so full after. i have also bought the plain unflavored kind and mixed sugar free Jello mix into it for flavor.

I have official made myself hungry now.....off to find my bullet

Hi everyone, I wrote back in May about having no strength. I still get totally exhausted just walking from room to room, it’s so bad I’m using a walker with wheels of all things. I had the gastric sleeve Jan. 24th. I’m doing exactly what the programs says, except protein shakes. I have different meats and protein bars daily, including vitamins daily. I do drink my fluids as well.  I go in for IV hydration 4 days a week and feel ok just til evening.  So far as of Jan 1st I’ve dropped 76 lbs. I just want to enjoy the weight lose. Any suggestions or has anyone else gone thru this??

Losing my hair in clumps and still dealing with "stomach" issues from gallbladder removal surgery. On the positive side I'm doing better about meeting protein and water goals and taking my vitamins, so yay? 🤷‍♀️

I've hit a stall 9 months out. I'm not worried, though. My fitness levels continue to improve and I have nearly accomplished my pre-surgery goal of learning to scuba dive! One dive left to complete to get my PADI card 🐠
I was able to go for a 10K/6mile hike in the mountains two days ago just for the fun of it. In the before days, I might have attempted this, but it would have taken me 7 or 8 hours to complete and I would have been exhausted and in pain for the next two days. Taking my time with breaks for snacks and water, I was finished with my wee jaunt in only 4 hours 😎 and really got to enjoy photographing some insects, fungi, and turtles.
