I personally used Dr. Ren as my surgeon. I have nothing but good things to say abut her and her practice. There was some lunatic spamming this web site with mis-information about her and Dr. Fielding. You can and should ignore what you've read. I stand behind both of them 100%! You can read another members unbiased review at http://www.lapbandtalk.com/topic/123304-brooklyn-new-york-lap-band-help/page__p__1565372#entry1565372 .

My surgeon is also Dr. Ren, but I went for a visit this morning (had a fill), and saw Dr. Schwack. Found him to be so warm, personable and funny! I really liked him.

Dr. Fielding did mine and I have to say that I have been nothing but impressed with them. 8 months out, I can tell you that their followup and attention to the patients is VERY different than many other offices.

Dr, Schwack will be doing my sleeve surgery. I feel comfortable with him and my decision to move forward.

Big fan of that practice
