Need Out-Patient Surgeon in Dallas/Ft. Worth

Hey, y'all. I am having a hard time finding a surgeon that meets my needs. Each have pros and cons that aren't mutually exclusive, so I am hoping someone knows of a surgeon that meets all of my criteria.

*Out-patient (no hospitalization)

*Self-pay price includes a year of follow-up care (barium swallows, x-rays and fills)

*Specializes (ideally exclusively) in Lap-Bands rather than someone that will do any WLS

So far, I found a surgeon that does outpatient for 1,000 cheaper up front (negotiation with hospital), but wants to nickel and dime me for everything thereafter- and demands 200 dollars for the initial appointment.

Another surgeon who is an expert in the band will include everything for a year (which is good because I am self-employed and money ebbs and flows), but there is an overnight hospital stay.

Can anyone recommend an outpatient, self-pay surgery with my criteria? I would be so grateful!

You might consider joining the DFWBandsters group (http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/DFWBandsters) and asking there. I know there are nurses who work for several different bariatric surgeons who post on that list.

Good Luck.

THANK YOU! This way I don't have to look for a location on each post to see if it's local. Thanks so much!
