I'm from Chicago and had my surgery at Mercy Hospital. I believe they do take Medicaid. Try contacting their Lapband Clinic on 2600 S. Michigan (312) 567-2263. Sometimes it takes them a while to answer the phone or get back to you, but keep trying.

Thanks hon! I'm actually a patient at Mercy but she was looking for somewhere different... I have heard that they are really conservative with people getting fills and I told her that I had read about people leaving that program so she wants to go somewhere else because of the information I had found lol So I'm trying to find her somewhere else to go...she doesn't have internet access right now
