Dr. Carol Mccloskey - We are Band Mates!

Hello there - I too had the band surgery on Friday Dec. 17th with Dr. McCloskey! I am wondering if we saw each other when waiting for our x-ray on the last day in the hospital? How are you feeling now? I am feeling really good and getting use to eating only little amounts of what we can eat right now. I had to go back Monday after the surgery to have 3 cc's removed from the band because I had a lot of swelling around the band post-op. Let me know how you are doing! Hope great!

Hi! Glad you are doing well! I don't know if I saw you... there were 3 girls waiting for the gross upper GI.. I was with my bf.. remember me? I'm doing pretty well... Still a little sore, but nothing too bad. I didn't even know we had Fluid in our band?! I wonder if everyone does.. Did you get the extra stitches in your stomach? I did... I'm not sure if it's working any better, but I definitely don't feel any hunger. Question for you... today has been two weeks since surgery, are you moving on to soft/puree foods today or tomorrow, or waiting any longer? I'm SO ready to eat something rather than Soup, but nervous to move on!

Hoping you are having a speedy recovery! (And getting through the holidays on this liquid diet! Ahhh)

Marie
