Anyone take muscle relaxers

I pulled a muscle in my back and the doctor prescribed the muscle relaxer flexiril. I am having a fill tomorrow and dont know if you are allowed to take muscle relaxers. This is my third fill but I have never taken medication before a fill

Don't see why it would hurt anything. I take meds for anxiety sorta similar. Just if they are time-release don't crush them. Just make a simple call to surgeon's office and ask always best to ask.
