Anyone willing to tell me a little about their banding experience?

Hi, I'm 30 years old and would like to talk to a few people (either via email, phone or in person) around my age who have had the surgery. Please send me a private message if you wouldn't mind talking with me about your experience. I would especially like to talk to anyone who had a BMI under 30 when they had the surgery. My BMI is 28.7.

Also, if you had the surgery anywhere in the New York City area, or surrounding areas, would you mind emailing the thread with where you had it done? I'm researching local doctors.

Thanks so much!
