Hi, I'm new to this forum and was banded on Monday. I'm freeling pretty good but terrified this won't work. Anyone else go through post-op jitters?

The pain wasn't really bad. I took advil and it did the trick. The worst part for me is the gas. I've been using the gasx strips and they help a little but I feel like I have a constant air bubble at the back of my throat.

I'm new and just now hearing about the gas...how long does it last? What does the port look like on the outside...are there pics online that show this?

The port is under the skin...you dont see it at all. It is small and round. Mine is on left side right above my breast line. Not bad at all.
