Hi Ryleysgirl - I am new here too (this is my first post, actually) so I am also unsure how this works, but I would love to find some other people who are going through this too. I am not yet banded, have my appointment with the surgeon, nutritionist and psych evaluation all on Nov 2nd, and hope to be banded Nov 18th, if all goes well. I am 48, married woman with grown kids too, from Western Canada. I have around 70 pounds to lose, and am "self-pay" too.
