December Bandsters (Early Xmas present)

I Dr. said, that I am likely to have my band completed in December. I really hope everything else goes great, as I am ready to bring in the new year with a NEW ME. I am still not quite open about the surgery, in fact no one knows but me. I may tell my husband, as the timeline approaches, but the closer I get the more excited I feel.

I'm officially less than a week away. I'm starting to not be able to sleep at night, lol. Worse than a kid at Christmas. laugh.gif

Thanks for all of the good wishes! I am getting nervous about tomorrow - not nervous in a bad way but nervous in that I can't wait to get this done!! The nurse I talked to this afternoon told me to get a good night's sleep and I was thinking "not very likely". LOL

Hi everyone! Thanks for all of ur prayers and support, everything went great and I'm finally banded! Right now I'm feeling fine, still in the hospital until tomorrow afternoon. After surgery I was a lil queezy from the meds but not really any pain at all....only had one dose of pain meds since recovery. Glad its over but I really worried myself for no reason at all! I will post more when I get out of here, saying lots of prayers for all of u!

Thanks! My doc keeps everyone in the hopsital for one night so I will be out later this morning. I think I would have been fine to go home yesterday tho. The queeziness I felt right after surgery and they gave me meds for that and have felt fine since.

I will ask for really potent nausea meds when i leave ntohing like having that feeling and affraid to throw up cause your affraid to bust a stitch, i will never forget that, along with coughing, things i reemmber from the gall bladder surgery should help me with this..ask for nausea meds, cough med...LOL i also have about an hour ride home from the hospital where i will be staying and i remember hitting bumps hurt as well, i had a pillow over my belly....ahhh sweet memories..when i had that done my hubby was on a 6mo med cruise in the navy so a friend helped out poor soul...LOL
