If you had the option would you of chosen to stay in the hospital a night , go to a after care place, or have a live in nurse the few days after surgery?? Did you have any discharge from your wounds?

My surgery is Oct 1st. I live alone and have had numerous people offer to take care of me. I definetly don't feel like I would burden anyone but I'm not sure exactly of the aftercare I will need.. I can afford really any option Would love your input of experience!

Surgery @ 9 am; on my way home by 11:30 am. Needed someone to drive me for sure due the meds. Recovery at home was easy-peasy and would not have wanted to stay in hospital overnight. The only thing I found extremely helpful was a helping hand to get from a reclining position to a standing position. My abs were very sore and I didn't get enough strength back until about 36 hours to pull myself up :thumbup:
