How soon did you play Golf?

Sorry if this a repeat question...I'm new to the "lower side" of the home page of forums! I had surgery on 7/19 and will obey my doc's rules for no golf until 4 weeks post-op. I was just a little disappointed that I have to wait that long. I guess too much bending/twisting? Just curious about what other folks were told.

PS I only play 1x week, but love it!

It's really the rotation and torque that comes into play. I waited the 4 weeks to play 18 holes, (usually walk but did take a cart) still a little sore but more than doable. Swinging the driver was easier than bunker play.
