Any fellow Bandsters newly pregnant??

I had surgery on 9/2/09 and I'm down 86 pounds! I had Dr. Robinson from B&W and although it's been challenging, I'm happy with the results from the band. Other than getting healthy, my MAIN motivation for getting the band was to finally conceive after 5 years of trying. IT WORKED!! I'm now 6 1/2 weeks pregnant!!

My question is, do I HAVE to get completely unfilled? I know Dr. R wants patients to wait to get pregnant, but it was unexpected (but we're beyond THRILLED)!! Anyone have any experience with this??

I had my band in Feb 08 and found out at my 6 week appt I was pregnant when I had the surgery! So Dr didn't do a fill during pregnancy but I can say follow thru afterwards bc I didn't and while I just recently had my second baby I've gained so much weight and now am trying to get back into it which is like starting from scratch. So even if no fills during pregnancy make sure you go back right after...good luck
