Hi banded 3 days ago a nurse helped me move across the bed & I felt a stretch, a sharp pain and a pop on my left hand side. Bit worried about this, has anyone else had this experience? Does this mean my band had slipped?

You should discuss it wirth your doc if you are still worried, but I would say you probably just felt a muscle spasm or a shifting of your port!! You didn't say if it hurt, but if it doesn't hurt, don't worry... Worry, can be your worst enemy!!! Hugs!!!!

Could also have been a scar tissue adhesion tearing. I've had that happened a couple of times after various surgeries. Hurts like the very dickens for a few seconds.

Ditto - it happened to me about a month ago (I'm 6 months post-op now) and I shrieked some bloody murder when it happened. To follow, my port area went NUMB afterwards. I was out of town on business, so I just went to sleep and woke up, luckily, fine. I haven't had any problems since and have seen the doctor since. Just keep an eye on it...if you're having other symptoms, it may be an issue! But my guess? Probably not :thumbup:
