Overwhelmed July Bander

Hi everyone! Well after fighting with insurance for several years, I gave up the fight and I am self-paying. My surgery is July 2nd and I am starting to get a little nervous and overwhelmed! I am a planner and I like to know I have all my ducks in a row! I thought this would be the perfect place for me to get more great advice and find out what to expect so I can be as prepared as possible.

Hey! Im selfpay as after giving up on my insurance as well. My surgery is scheduled for July 30th. Im also a planner and Iv been on this site for a couple months now trying to soak up information so I can get a clue about what to expect. Im finding its 50/50 on alot of stuff like pain after surgery, doctors instructions on liquids before and after and success. I figured I can only plan so much and the rest I will have to wait and see how it goes...:smile2:
