Port Pain and port sticking out under skin

:sad:Hi was banded on 4-12-2010. There is a problem that I am having and it is with my port, it is sticking up from under my breast bone and it hurts so much. If any one has this problem let me know. My doctors keeps menimizing what I feel,

    Is it like a hard and bruised lump near your port incision? I had surgery on 4/15 and have the same thing. My surgeon says it is a hematoma from internal bleeding. Mine is very painful too.
