How would you know it your tubing or port was leaking

my nurse was in there a long time, couldnt find port, doctor had to locate it, i am just scared she poked something else, like the tubing, how do you know if there is a leak, i got an untill of 1 cc as I couldnt hold down gatorade after my last fill

What I've been told is that if you have a leak, then you may start out with restriction, but that it will quickly go away as the fluid leaks out of the band. (Over the course of several hours to several days) However, this is not a common ocurrence. I know it's scary when they can't find the port (and it can be painful) but I'm guessing that you're probably fine. :thumbup:

THank you Tish, I am really scared, was banded in July and have 4-5 fills since and that has never been an issue so i am freaking out. I still have a little restiction but now i kinda wish i didnt get the unfill at all. Oh well we shall see
