Hello everyone! I am slated to have revisional surgery on June 29th in Mexico. I am getting a band placed over a previous gastric bypass that I had 10 years ago. I was just wondering if anyone has already been through this and if they were willing to share their experiences such as success/failures, pain from surgery (was it better or worse that the bypass), and how they are adapting. I would just like a different perspective other than my doctor's. Thanks in advance!

I saw a woman on utube that had lapband after gastric bypass. Try searching there. She has lost all her weight again with lapband and she was very happy with her decision. Good luck!

My surgeon had info on a new procedure for gastric bypass patients. It is less invasive than lap band.
