Mother's Day Challenge Anyone?

Recommended Posts

So frustrated!!!! Yesterday I was still at 308 this morning 311.....What the heck? How in the heck do you gain 3 lbs in 1 freaking day? It is not even that time of the month. That is not until next week. I just hope the fill I get this week helps even just a little.

I can't find my name on the chart anymore. I did post that I was out of the country on vacation but when I went in to log my weight loss, my name is missing? Can anyone help me?

Another week and no weight loss. I don't get it. I'm exercising 4-5 days a week doing circuit training, getting 100 g of Protein and 90 ounces of Water today, not grazing, NOTHING! What gives? This sux. Sorry, I am just so disappointed these past few weeks.....

Down only 1 pound, not close to goal but I am losing and that is all that matters, even if it is at a snails pace:biggrin:

I'm down three pounds total for the challenge, but what a grueling road! I certainly won't make my 10 pound goal, but it's okay. I am still going in the right direction. Did I hear someone say July 4th challenge?!?! Heh.

Frustrated with no loss this week! But going through a tough time with my mom very ill and now we put her into hospice care. Think she only has a couple weeks left. She has lung cancer which such a nasty disease.

I am trying very hard not to use food as an emotional outlet and am still exercising. But my stress levels are through the roof which I am sure are contributing to lack of weight loss.

Have not weighed--will probably do so Wednesday--TOM struck--I gain 5-7lbs so no use stepping on that scale--I can tell from my swollen cankles--bring on the serious Water retention:frown:

Same thing going on here...even my face is puffy this time! I will try to weigh tomorrow, but it isn't looking promising!

STUCK, stuck, stuck...this sucks! I have lost 4 pounds total since my last fill, and I am exercising more and eating enough protien and calories. I hate when the scale doesn't move!

I agree with you, these last two weeks I felt like I was fighting an army to get any weight off. I am not sure but I may have hit a plateau. It has become increasingly harder to get any weight off and I am still like you hitting my target calories, Protein and workouts. Maybe I will wake up one morning and be 5 lbs down, here is hoping

Happy Mum's day everyone

Well didn't quite reach my goal of 15 pounds but made 14. So I am very happy, especially after being stuck for 2 weeks. This challenge helped keep me focused. What is the next one????????? I'm in.

I met my weight loss challenge goal. I'm so thrilled. This challenge was just what I needed to get into the weight loss groove. I am drinking a lot more Water, taking my Vitamins, and jogging three days a week, cross training two other days.

If anyone wants to do a July 4th challenge, I'm in!!

On day 4 of the 2 week liquid pre-op diet. Surgery scheduled for June 11th.
Soooo I am coming to a realization
of something and I'm not sure what to do about it. For years the only thing I've enjoyed is eating. We rarely do anything or go anywhere and if we do it always includes food. Family comes over? Big family dinner! Go camping? Food! Take a short ride or trip? Food! Holiday? Food! Go out of town for a Dr appointment? Food! When we go to a new town we don't look for any attractions, we look for restaurants we haven't been to. Heck, I look forward to getting off work because that means it's almost supper time. Now that I'm drinking these pre-op shakes for breakfast, lunch, and supper I have nothing to look forward to.  And once I have surgery on June 11th it'll be more of the same shakes. Even after pureed stage, soft food stage, and finally regular food stage, it's going to be a drastic change for the rest of my life. I'm giving up the one thing that really brings me joy. Eating. How do you cope with that? What do you do to fill that void? Wow. Now I'm sad.

Three months and four days ago... I was in Costa Rica having a life changing surgery! Yesterday we had a followup visit with Dr. Esmeral via video chat and this morning my middle number changed.  I'm down 47lbs and two pants sizes. I can wear a Large tshirt for the first time in like... 14 years! Woot!! Everything is going great. I have zero regrets. I went down to the riverwalk with a friend and walked 2 miles on Monday without even getting fatigued. And no more snoring or chugging pickle juice for crazy leg cramps! I need to go to the gym more... I'm making new shirts next week so that will motivate me. LOL But I'm also just not as TIRED all the time! I have a LONG way to go...but seeing the progress on the scales and in the mirror is a huge motivator!! Thank you all for cheering me on and supporting me!!
