I had my band removed on Monday, March 22 due to major slippage and 3 days worth of steriods to decrease size of esophagus and PPN (nutrition) through the vein due to being so sick, was in the hospital 5 days...now recovering very slowly...on liquids and they don't feel good sometimes...just wondering if anyone else encountered this and how long before your esophagus felt anywhere near normal? thanks!

I'm sorry you had to have your band removed and I hope your feeling better, I had my band removed and went back to work 5 days later, I was pooped and had a hard time getting through the work days at first I would say that it took me about 8 weeks before I started to feel "normal" again, but in that 8 weeks I also gained 24 pounds. its been a hard road but I'm determined to get my weightloss back on track Band or No Band.
