hello LAP-BAND® family!

i am so excited to find this website. i have browsed some of the threads and looked at some of the amazing transformations that some of you have had! and man, am i inspired!

i just had my psychological evaluation and i see the surgeon this week. i am so excited to start this journey!

i did want to know how long it took everyone to get the surgery from the first dr. visit.

looking forward to hearing more of your amazing stories!biggrin.gif

    Congratulations to you! I am new as well-I have my pre-op this Thursday then my surgery is scheduled on 4/21. I am both nervous and excited at the same time. Sounds like we are starting on this new journey close to the same time!

    From my first doctor visit to the OR, it was just a bit more than 5 months; it likely would have been less, but the holidays interfered.

    Still, the time went quickly, and it was WELL worth the wait!

    My first Dr. visit (initial consult) was 2/13/10, my pre-op was 3/13/10 and my surgery is scheduled for 3/26/10...
