Kathy, the breasts were the easiest part of my surgery! The discomfort I had felt only like I had done too much weight on the bench press the day before! The side that I had reduced was a little more sore than the side I just had lifted, but neither was much pain at all.

The only reason I had an implant put in was because my surgeon said the B cup I would be after surgery would not look like the B cup I wanted. He said the tissue I had would fall, and my ribs would still be able to be seen on the upper breast.

Good Luck!

Hi back to Mimi and Niki -- I put on 2 supportive sports bras and went jogging on the treadmill at the gym today! I can't even imagine. I could do about .1 mile and then I'd walk some and then another round and then I finished with .25 mile stretch at the end for about 45 min total. I wasn't swaying in the top and my knees, ankles and feet were not hurting. Really what was holding me back was cardio- I felt my heart rate getting above 160 after the .25 mile part and I felt that was pushing pretty far past the 136 bpm that is for 80% capacity for cardio for a 50 year old range person. I am hoping if I keep at it, the cardio will get stronger, not pump as hard, so I can jog for longer periods. Basically, the BR has helped me to get jogging. Now if I can get this last 40 lbs off I will be lining up for Tummy Tuck in 2011!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
