Does anyone know if Tricare Prime covers cost of fills after lapband surgery?

Yes, it does, but you have to have an active referral from your PCM. I only pay the copay each time. (South Region)

I also have Tricare Prime - are the fills covered for 1 year after surgery, or longer as needed?

I am nearly 2 years out and just had a fill a couple weeks ago. Paid the copay only. I just have to check to be sure there is still an active referral on file each time or get a new referral from my PCM.

I too am tricare prime, you are covered as long as you remain prime, other versions of tricare are copay only...
