Ok, I have waited and waited to post this...mostly because it all seems surreal...but tomorrow is the big day!

I'll arrive at the surgeon's office at 7:30am, to have my out-patient plastic surgery! As you can see from the title of my post, I am having a hip to hip tummy tuck, the girls lifted with implants and a small thigh lift. The grand total should be 6 hours under epidural anesthesia, for roughly 14k.

I am really excited, a little nervous, but mostly ready to get the show on the road. My lap band sx was 2 years ago, and I was successful in losing 125lbs. I have always been apple-shaped, and the weight loss has left me with a less-than-thrilling apron. Following my consultation with my PS, I decided to go for the gusto and get the works! I plan on taking before pics tonight, and will post them when I get home from sx.

Well, I guess starting this post makes it all real...I better get moving on the to-do list! Talk to you all soon!

You are going to be so happy for a long time with your new chest. Even with my scars I still pause to admire "the girls" every time I pass a mirror!!!! Thank you for posting your pictures.

Sue - I was driving by the 4th day post op as I was off my Percocet pain medicine - just taking 2 Aleve for a few days and now nothing for pain! I do have Itching! I took a Benadryl to help with that and it did help.

Niki & Mimi -- how long until the lovely purple marking pen stuff will wash off or fade out? I finally got the ones up my my neck and upper chest scrubbed off but there are still lovely purple marks on the boobies.

Hahahahahaha, they will fade out by a couple of weeks, I should think. I don't exactly remember!!!!

Kathy, Your pics look Fabulous!!! I can't believe how great you look in you cute little c cup bra! Who would have thought we could buy cute little bras!!!

Saw my plastic surgeon today for my first follow up. She said I'm healing fine and she'll see me for follow up at 3 more weeks. She said I can start lifting my arms above my head but gently and gradually, can do walking, elliptical trainer without the arms, lifting okay up to 10 lbs, and just see how it goes.

The big news she gave me which I didn't even think about is that the Biopsy of my breast tissue was all clear - no masses or anything bad. Wow -- hadn't even thought about it.

The smaller breasts should be easier to do a breast self exam now!

I havent had my biopsy result back yet.

How did everything turn out? It sounds exciting. I would love to hear how everything went and see pictures. I am hoping to have the same procedure.

Everything went great. I had really pretty minimal pain and all my incisions were healed pretty nicely in 6 weeks. I am going for a follow up with my surgeon in October (6 months out) to ask her about a possible lump I have in one breast near the vertical incision line where it intersects with the horizontal incision line. I think she will tell me it is just scar tissue and I'm hoping it will soften or resolve on its own. If not, then I feel confident she'll handle it.

It is wonderful now buying a size L T-shirt when I go out somewhere instead of the 3XL I used to buy before lapband and even the XL or 1X I was buying before my BR.

Just wanted to congratulate you Niki in your surgery and success...I am almost two years out on my surgery and really considering a breast augmentation and lift, tummy tuck and a thigh lift...actually going to see a surgeon on 9/29/10. Eventhough I am not "skinny" yet, I am happy with the weight and currently a size 8 which was always my goal...so I figure this is the right time...

Wow! I'm just now seeing this. You look great! My thighs already look like your before pic just from gaining and losing with my pregnancy. I can wait to reach my goal weight and have this done!
