Easter Challenge Anyone?

Recommended Posts

Exactly - any weight loss is better than none at all! I am aiming for 30 but if I get into Onederland by any amount I will be more than please. Shoot - I'm excited to get below 220! I haven't been below 220 since high school.

I'm in. I'm 3 weeks post op and I've lost 9 pounds not feeling any restriction. After my first fill still no restrction but I would love to lose 30 by Easter. I'll give it a shot.

I'm starting today at 193 so I'm shooting for 163 by Easter!

Sounds good!

Hi Everyone,

I'd like to take part in the Easter challenge. I have only been banded since 1/13, but I enjoy challenges. I have no idea how much weight I might lose by Easter. I'll aim for twenty pounds and would be very excited by that.

I'd love to join if it's not too late. I was banded on January 15th, 2010 so I'm new to this. I would love to lose 30 pounds by Easter. I'm going on a weekend getaway with my immediate family, grandparents and cousins Easter weekend so this will really help keep me on track! I scheduled my first fill today at my one week follow-up appointment and it's on February 16th. I'm super excited!!! :)

Okay I've gotten through Day 1 of this 2 day weekend haha! Doing good...ate good today and worked out..

Do any of you eat the "skinny cow" ice cream products? Those things are awesome! Ice cream is my weakness...another good low cal icre cream fix is pudding shakes...you use your favorite instant pudding mix (mine is cheesecake) use 2 tablespoons of the dry mix in your blender with a cup of milk (preferably skim) with ice and make a smoothie..the only cals you got is what is in the milk...it is delicious. You can also add some fresh fruit to it!

I have no clue where to upload this, so I'll put it here. This is pre-op vs the morning of my 6 month appointment! In office I weight 232, that's 88 lbs down since my highest weight, 75 lbs since my surgery weight! I can't believe this jacket fit... I am smaller now than the last time I was this size which the surgeon found really amusing. He's happy with where I am in my weight loss and estimates I'll be around 200 lbs by my 1 year anniversary! My lowest weight as an adult is 195, so that's pretty damn exciting to think I'll be near that at a year. Everything from there will be unknown territory!!

So proud of you Cat. Getting into those smaller size clothes is half the fun isn't it?. Keep up the good work!!!!

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

That's brilliant! You've done amazing!! I should probably think about changing my profile picture at some point. Mine is the doll from Squid Games. Ironically the whole premise of the show is about dodging death. We've both done that...

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?
