well, among other things, a firkin a British unit of capacity used especially in the brewing industry, equal to nine U.K. gallons, a small wooden tub, and a measurement for butter and soap, much like carrats are measurments of gem stones.

I'm just sort of feeling lately like the way we weigh is so arbritrary, I figured that I would seek out new and interesting ways to track my weight. Last week I went with atomic weight, this week it's firkins, who knows what I'll choose next??? Heck, I don't even know :)

As for fitday, well, even at my goal I'll still be severely overweight, so who cares what they say anyway!

My Spudboy will be out next week and my DH will be here the following weekend! WooT!

I used to work in a pub called "The Fox and Firkin" - I messed up a drink order once and it turned out to be really yummy - so they called it a 'Firk-up' and charged $8 a glass!!! lol

But licks for you Crystal!! Well done sexy!! :lick :lick :lick

GREAT!!! I remember the first time I read that about myself at 169 they described me as morbidly obese.....I wish I was 169 now.

Screw the labesl anyways.

You are beautiful....regardless of the worlds labels.

Take care,

I changed my profile image to a molecule of protein. Why? Because I am certain that it saved my life.

Two years out. Lost 120 , regained 5 lbs. Recently has a bout of Norovirus, lost 7 pounds in two days. Now my stomach feels like it did right after my surgery. Sore, sensitive to even water.  Anyone out there have a similar experience?

      April Surgery
Am I the only struggling to get weight down. I started with weight of 297 and now im 280 but seem to not lose more weight. My nutrtionist told me not to worry about the pounds because I might still be losing inches. However, I do not really see much of a difference is this happen to any of you, if so any tips?
      Thanks

Well recovering from gallbladder removal was a lot like recovering from the modified duodenal switch surgery, twice in 4 months yay 🥳😭. I'm having to battle cravings for everything i shouldn't have, on top of trying to figure out what happens after i eat something. Sigh, let me fast forward a couple of months when everyday isn't a constant battle and i can function like a normal person again! 😞
